  • Passport Details: Passport Number, Country, Issue & Expiry Date
  • Special Category Data: Your Passport Photo / Scan

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type (collected automatically)

3. How We Use Your Data (Lawful Basis)

We process your data under the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contract Performance (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)): We process your primary data to fulfil our service—preparing and submitting your application to the official etas.gov.so portal.
  • Substantial Public Interest (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(g) & DPA 2018): We process your passport photo (special category data) as necessary for assisting with an official government immigration process.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We share your data only with these third parties, strictly as necessary:

  • The Government of Somalia (etas.gov.so): Your application data is shared to process your official eVisa.
  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd ("Stripe"): We share transaction data to process your payment. Stripe's privacy policy applies to their processing.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our service and comply with legal obligations:

  • Passport Images & Application Documents: Permanently deleted within 7 days of your application being completed (submitted to etas.gov.so).
  • Basic Transaction Records (Name, Email, Date, Amount): Retained for 7 years as required by UK tax law.
